Hi and Welcome to Bella Sage Health!!
I’m Sarah Erny and I would love to introduce myself.
I’m a Nurse Practitioner in Bellingham, WA. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Kentucky followed by a Master’s Degree (MSN) in Adult and Women’s Health from Vanderbilt University. After becoming a nurse practitioner (ARNP), I went on to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Vanderbilt in 2014.
My husband and I have relocated to Bellingham, Washington and are excited to bring our practice here to help those who want to experience true, individualized healthcare.
I have been a nurse practitioner now for over a decade and worked with over 2,000 patients. I quickly realized that the education I received in school was not going to come close to finding how to best help my patients with their health needs. Conventional medicine is failing patients largely because we aren’t taught what we need to know to guide patients through chronic, life-altering illness.
My passion is helping patients maneuver through their unique needs and to welcome in optimal health. I practice with a VERY integrative style believing that our bodies can heal if given the right tools. My deep desire is to guide those in my care to hear their bodies’ language and to find the right lifestyle and natural healing tools that can bring them back to health.
My mission is to guide patients on how to reconnect with their emotions, their spirits and their bodies. It is my deep desire to guide those in my care to hear their bodies’ language and to find the right lifestyle and natural healing tools that can bring them back to health.
What I have found in practice is that my spiritual, herbal and artistic roots are where I can meet patients and their needs the most. It isn’t just reading a set of labs and writing prescriptions…it’s a partnership between myself and my patient. Patient autonomy, the right to guide their own care, is at the core of this partnership.
I believe my role is to hold space so that each patient can dive into their personal journeys towards authenticity and to be a witness to the fulfillment that comes from deep intuitive connection with oneself and the joy that comes with it.
I would love to walk with you through your journey!
